Patience in Process

Slow growth is still growth.

God isn't in a hurry. Why are you?

The big idea

What grows fast usually doesn't last. What lasts grows slow.

What does “Patience in Process” walk through?

1

He Who Began Will Finish

Philippians 1:6 · KJV

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

In plain English

I'm sure of this: God started a good work in you, and he'll finish it.

2

He Started It

If God started the work in you, he's responsible for finishing it. Your job isn't to fast-track yourself into perfection. Your job is to keep showing up. The growing is his.

3

A Time for Everything

Ecclesiastes 3:1 · KJV

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.

In plain English

Everything has a season. Each part of life has its proper time.

“Slow growth is the only growth that lasts.”

4

Trust the Slow

Comparison kills. Stop measuring your year-three against someone else's year-fifteen. You're not behind. You're in process. The God who started will finish. He's never rushed.

Pray

Father, grow me at your pace, not the world's. Help me not despise small progress. The slow becoming is still becoming.

Write it down

Where are you getting impatient with your own growth? What would it look like to trust the process?

You finished: Patience in Process

Slow is sustainable. Show up tomorrow. The growth is real even when it's quiet.
