Knowing You're Loved

Letting it land deeper than you've let it land.

You've heard it. Have you actually felt it?

The big idea

God's love isn't something you earn into — it's something you wake up inside of.

What does “Knowing You're Loved” walk through?

1

The Most-Heard Verse

John 3:16 · KJV

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

In plain English

God loves people so much that he gave Jesus. Trusting him brings lasting life instead of being lost.

2

Heard or Known?

You can know a truth in your head for years without it ever reaching your chest. God's love is one of those truths. The longer you let it sit, the deeper it settles.

3

While We Were Still

Romans 5:8 · KJV

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

In plain English

God didn't wait for us to clean up. The cross happened while we were still a mess. That's the kind of love it is.

“You are more flawed than you ever dared believe, and more loved than you ever dared hope.”

4

He Sings Over You

Zephaniah 3:17 · KJV

The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save thee, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

In plain English

God doesn't tolerate you. He's delighted by you. He sings over you the way a parent sings over a sleeping child.

5

Believe It on the Bad Days

The real test isn't believing God loves you when you're doing well. It's believing it on the day you've failed, lashed out, or fallen behind. The love hasn't moved.

Pray

Father, let your love sink past my defenses today. Let me hear you sing over me, even when I can't sing back.

Write it down

Where in your life would you live differently if you actually believed God delighted in you?

You finished: Knowing You're Loved

Loved is your starting point, not your destination. Walk out of this knowing you're not auditioning for affection. You already have it.
